After more than a decade working alongside employers, workforce organizations, chambers, industry associations, and regional partners, I’ve noticed a recurring challenge: employers say they can't find the talent with the skills they need, education says it is training the skills that are in demand, and individuals say they have the skills to do the jobs.
Yet beneath those statements is a different reality. Organizations often struggle to clearly define the skills needed for success in their jobs, making it difficult to understand the talent they already have and the talent they need in the future. More so, organizations are navigating complex decisions and priorities with limited resources and visibility into the talent, capabilities, and skills within their reach.
I created Skills Momentum to help employers utilize their greatest asset, which is their talent, by making the skills more visible and connected.
Through workshops, advisory engagements, and customized strategy design, I help organizations take practical steps to connect jobs, skills, and talent more intentionally, creating momentum and supporting lasting results.
